WIKINDX ~ Extras

WIKINDX uses a plug-in module system to extend or alter its capabilities. Additionally, there exist third-party plug-ins and extensions. Unless otherwise indicated, all extras can be downloaded from the modules section of the Sourceforge file downloads area.
BibUtils plug-in module. (Compatible with WIKINDX >= v3.2.1)
Makes use of bibutils written by Chris Putnam and requires the installation of the executable files from that site.
Convert a range of bibliographic formats to BibTeX for insertion into WIKINDX. |
ImportPubMed plug-in module. (Compatible with WIKINDX >= v3.4.5)
Makes use of bibutils written by Chris Putnam and requires the installation of the executable files from that site.
Import PubMed records. Optionally download the results as a bibTeX file or import them directly into WIKINDX. |
localization plug-in module. (Compatible with WIKINDX >= v3.4.4)
Provides a web interface for the creation of localization (language translation) files. Simplifies the job and automates some tasks. |
searchCustom plug-in module. (Compatible with WIKINDX >= v3.6.5)
Search custom fields. |
userWriteCategory plug-in module. (Compatible with WIKINDX >= v3.2.1)
Normally, only the WIKINDX administrator can add, edit and delete categories. This plug-in allows all logged-on users to do so. |
WIKINDXPaste Firefox plug-in extension. (Compatible with Firefox browser > 1.5)
Written by Jakob Beetz, this Firefox extension lets you mark BibTeX text you find in many online libraries and reference databases and paste it into an existing WIKINDX installation.
